SDRC Nepal's core objectives are:
- Increase awareness to create healthy, resilient, knowledgeable and well being society
- Increase access to personal and environment hygiene, maternal and child health
- Ensure provision of quality family planning services to community people directly or indirectly
- Co-ordinate with stakeholders for program execution
- Organize different programs on Health, Educational, Disaster, safe drinking, and WASH activities
- Organize community development, environment and other useful programs and advocate on available services
