Immunization Day Celebration
SDRC actively supports the celebration of Immunization Day to promote awareness about the importance of timely and complete immunization for children and communities. The event provides an opportunity to encourage parents, caregivers, community members, and local stakeholders to understand the benefits of vaccination and the importance of completing the recommended immunization schedule.
Through community awareness activities, discussions, and coordination with health facilities, Female Community Health Volunteers (FCHVs), local governments, and community groups, SDRC helps strengthen understanding of immunization and address misconceptions and barriers related to vaccination.
The initiative emphasizes that immunization is a key investment in children’s health, survival, and healthy development. SDRC remains committed to supporting local health systems and communities in promoting equitable access to essential health services and protecting children from vaccine-preventable diseases.
